7 animals, 7 sex astounding sex facts.

You might have watched movies, clips, seen in the jungle animals mating, compared with how humans mate and so nothing weird. However, did you ever know what it takes for some animals before a young one can come up. However, has it ever crossed your mind, the different adaptations animals have evolved to mate successfully, have you ever thought of an animal with no vagina, or spiky penis, did you know the animals with the longest penis or testicles are not necessarily the largest animals you know about? Here are seven animals and seven sex facts you don’t know about them: 1. Bedbugs have no vaginas: In reproduction, bedbugs are the most interesting animals. The male bedbugs are equipped with perforated penises which pierce through the female’s body and inject sperms in it. The sperms can be injected anywhere in the body: heart, legs, kidneys, legs without harming the insect. As a result, some people argue bedbugs don’t have while others argue they have multiple vaginas. The number of scars on her body is a proof of males she has slept with. Bedbugs are bisexual and since it is not easy to identify a female, sometimes male bedbugs engage in beastly acts, some males have a secondary vagina on their backs for homosexual acts. 2. Bean weevils have spiky penises: People complain about the sex experience being bad or unpleasant, the female seed beetle (Callosobruchus maculates) case is even worse. She has to contend with a spiky penis and the injuries that follow after mating. Spikes are argued to be an evolution adaptation that prevents the female from future mating and also allowing her to take care of her eggs. The spiky penis is essential to male dominance and success since males with longest spikes fertilize more eggs compared to those with smaller; size really matters. Role of the spikes remains unclear although some people argue it is for anchoring the male during mating. 3. The black spotted hyena has the largest clitoris: You all know what a clitoris is, but anyway; clitoris is a female sexual organ, at the beginning of development, the embryo has no gender. As it prepares to develop either to a female or male, bud tissues form which later develop into a penis or milk glands. At the initial development stages, male hormones trigger penis development while the female stop the development of the penis bud; it remains a vestigial clitoris. The female black spotted hyena has more testosterone than the male; as a result, her clitoris is not vestigial and continues to grow after birth. You can imagine what happened when Europeans came to Africa and saw a hyena giving birth and thought male hyenas actually give birth. The first birth is a difficult experience for the female hyena, but since it breaks the clitoris, subsequent births are usually easier. 4. Spider has a detachable penis: Although mating is for reproduction and pleasure purposes, it can be dangerous if your partner intends to kill you on climax. When mating for the first or probably the last time, the male spider has to be very careful. The spider is a sexual cannibal; as a result, the male has adapted by having a detachable penis. The male spider has a sperm transferring organ known as ‘palp’ similar to a penis, it detaches when the male disengages from the female body either after being pushed away, eaten up or ran away to risk another day. The detached penis is essential for prolonging mating period; it continues to pump sperms on the female body long after its owner has moved on. 5. Bush crickets have the heftiest ‘balls’ testicles: Probably thought of testicles size of a human head, it might only be 3 centimeters long however, the bush cricket is the most loaded animal in relation to its body weight. Its testicles carry 14% of its whole body mass. To put it in a clear perspective, a normal man weighing 75kilograms would have a 10.5 kilogram load between his legs. Just like big animals do not have the largest testicles, bush crickets are not the largest sperm producers. The testes size is dependent on females’ promiscuity. The females mate with around 23 different males in their 2months adult life, as a result, males have to preserve sperm for the many partners he is likely to have, as a result, they produce sperms in small quantities. 6. Ducks have the longest penis among the vertebrates: Although most birds don’t have penises, the ones that have compensate for the rest. The Argentinean blue bill duck has a penis longer than its body size. Proportionate to its body size, the bird has the longest penis. It measures 41cm that amounts to carrying a dick almost its body size. When relaxed, the penis is coiled inside in a cock-screw manner ready to explode anytime. The females are adapted to this morphological feature, they have a cock-screwed vagina but in the opposite direction; during coitus, the two do not struggle much. 7. Barnacles have the longest penis in the animal kingdom: Finding a perfect lover is never an easy task especially when you live trapped in a home you cannot get out of. Barnacles live trapped between rocks; they don’t have a choice on their neighbors are, they are stuck with them forever. However, the choice of who to mate is never a problem, barnacles have the longest penis in the animal kingdom with a potential of stretching 30 times its body size. As a result, barnacles reach and mate their partners without the need to leave the comfort of their homes. You can imagine of a whale with a potential of stretching its penis 30 times; it would cause a tsunami.
